MEETING MINUTES

The regular monthly meeting of the Brazos Valley Chapter, TCA was held on June 7, 2010, 3 pm at La Riviera

Attending:  Alfonso Gonzales CEC, Luis Becerra CEC, Shawn Cooley, Gerald May and Denise Wood.

Guests:  Chris Pulido and Britt Hartman

Call to Order:  Alfonso Gonzales CEC called the meeting to order at 3pm.

Minutes:  Gerald May read last month's minutes.  Minutes approved as read.

Old Business:  Finalize Mushroom Festival Menu.  Appetizer-Mushroom Ragout Crab Cakes w/spicy Remoulade on Ciabatta, Salad-Roasted Beets and Organic Tomatoes with marinated Porcini Mushrooms, Entree-Ancho Chili and Chocolate Glazed BBQ Beef Tenderloin w/Vegetable Medley Galette and Sauteed Mushrooms, Dessert-Chocolate Napoleon.  We will commit to doing three demos.

New Business:  Discussed the state convention, July 16, 17 & 18th, 2010. 

Adjournment:  Next meeting is July 5, 2010, 3 pm at La Riviera.  Meeting was adjourned.

Attending:  Alfonso Gonzalez CEC, Luis Becerra CEC, Gerald May and Denise Woods.

Call to Order:  The meeting was called to order by Alfonso Gonzalez CEC.

Old Business:  Culinary Course-Luis still needs the check from the Culinary Course to pay the servers.

New Business:  Mushroom Festival-Luis and Shawn need to write the menu by next week.  Alfonso will email Susan and let her know we are working on getting her the menu.  Luis, Shawn and Denise will do demos.
