MEETING MINUTES

The regular monthly meeting of the Permian Basin Chapter, TCA was held on August 2, 2010, hosted by J.R. Jimenez of the Petroleum Club of Midland, Texas.

Attending:  Mike Galvan, Angelo McCoy, Domenico Berardicurti, Felix Buenrrostro, James Price, Alex Buenrrostro, and Evangeline Garcia

Guests:  Karen Poole, Manuel Garcia, Leobardo Garcia, Judy Hairston, Sonia Olivas, Michale Olivas, and Lisa Glymph.

Call to Order:  The meeting was called to order at 2:27 pm

Treasurer's Report:  The chapter is financially sound.

New Business:  Members discussed Certification for CEC, How Important for Someone to have CEC in our chapter.  Chef Domenico handed out the awards from the convention.  He discussed how the TCA is very important to all of us chefs, for education and connection.  Our guest was Aimee Medlock from Ben E. Keith Foods.  Chapter is planning a chef dinner with all the local chefs in our chapter and they will work along with the Odessa College Students.  Also discussed was new relationship with Odessa College Students to get more involved with our chapter. 

Adjournment:  Motion was made to adjourn at 4:15 pm.  Next meeting will be at The Cafe at the Garden on September 13, 2010 at 2 pm, hosted  by Chef James Price.
